Community Carbon Marketplace system was created by Ingentive Technologies with the collaboration of Cowichan Energy Alternatives and MRKS Media. The concept underlying the system was to control, minimize and measure the carbon emissions by providing the carbon emitting companies a virtual marketplace where they can trade carbon emission permits.
